Hello, I’m Dan Fetsco.
My teaching, writing, and service focus on criminal justice reform.

Cutting Life Short
Cutting Life Short argues that most people serving life sentences in Wyoming and the US are capable of rehabilitation and deserve second chances, drawing on research that shows widespread public and victim support for reform. Through case studies and the author’s experience on the Wyoming parole board, the book highlights the fiscal and moral problems of excessive sentencing, advocates for systematic review and clemency reforms, and urges a shift toward redemption, justice reform, and responsible crime reporting.
